Letha Raney Intermediate School is an "Outstanding California School" located in Corona, California.  Raney Intermediate offers numerous academic programs for sixth, seventh and eighth grade students.  We are part of the Corona-Norco Unifed School District the tenth largest district in California and have been providing quality education to the students of the Corona and Norco area for over 120 years.
Our school was named after local educator Letha Raney, who was a teacher and principal in Corona from the 1920's to the 1960's.  Miss Raney and her family came to Corona in the late 1800's in a covered wagon from Oregon.  Miss Raney graduated from Corona High School and later received a degree from the University of Southern California (USC).  She devoted her life to educating Corona's youth.  Raney Intermediate opened its doors to students in the Corona community in the fall of 1966 under the leadership of Principal Richard Becker.
Our Mission is to lead all students to their academic and social excellence in order to be contributing members of the local, global, and digital community.
