River Heights offers a wide range of programs, including:  Honors classes, English Language Development, special education.  Students also choose from a wide variety of exploratory classes include: computer science, fine arts and choir and band.  To help students succeed we also offer academic intervention classes in math and language arts.  During fifth period, all students take Academic Support Core, which focuses on literacy and provides both enrichment and study skills to assist students.
 
Student Programs: AVID, Language Arts, Math, PE, Science, Social Studies, Exploratory, Art, Band, Computer Science, Drama Production, Health, Language Arts Exp., Life Management, Math Explore, Speech & Debate, Choir, Guitar, School Newspaper, Video Production, Yearbook, Special Education, Honors/GATE, RSP, SDC, ELL, FHA Club, Scrapbooking Club, Speech Club, Drama Club, ASB, Anime Club, Conflict Management, WEB (Welcome Every Body), Math Academy (5th Period Intervention).
