Help raise money for our school by participating in our Fall Fundraiser starting August 18th. There's nothing to sell... this is strictly cash donations! Money earned will go towards school assemblies, field trips, Scholastic News, and other PTA-sponsored events. The amount of money raised will determine our field trip for this school year. Please ask your friends and extended family members to donate, too!
What could be more cool than camping overnight at school! Pitch your tents on the school field, and join us for a Coyote Campout! There will be lots of fun activities to enjoy. Camping begins at 5:00 pm on Friday, September 26th, and ends at 9:00 am on Saturday September 27th. It's going to be a howling good time!
Foothill Elementary has several students with moderate to severe food allergies. Effective immediately, treats will not be allowed to be brought to school for birthday celebrations. If you wish to bring something to share with the class to celebrate your child's birthday, please consider non-food items such as pencils, stickers, or small toys. Also, if you donate a book to our library, your child's birthday will be announced during the morning announcements! A book plate will be placed inside the book as well, letting everyone know who donated that book!
Students have the opportunity to run before school, during lunch recess, and during P.E. to reach their goal of 100 miles over the entire school year. Last year, almost every student in Mrs. Raynes' class reached at least 25 miles and earned their 100-Mile t-shirt. Several completed their 100 miles and earned their medals. Your child can, too! It only costs $10 to join.
Foothill is having a school-wide competition to see which class can get the most PTA memberships! Please register yourself and your child (and other family members, friends, neighbors, etc.). Memberships cost $7.00 each, and a membership in your child's name allows them to participate in special events. PTA Memberships help pay for field trips, art programs, family fun nights, and much more! Attending the meetings is not required, but you are welcome to attend if you wish. Please help us win with the most memberships in the school!
