• What are A-G requirements?

The University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) require entering freshmen to complete certain courses in high school. These are called the "a-g" courses.   The CSU requires a minimum 15-units of courses for admission as a first-time freshman. UC's recommend additional years in some areas.  A student must complete at least 11 "a-g" courses by the end of your junior year with a minimum grade of C in each to be considered eligible for admission to either a CSU or UC campus.
