Teaching Experience: I feel very fortunate to have taught in Corona-Norco schools for my entire teaching career; I have taught sixth grade, kindergarten, and second grade. I can't believe this is my twenty-third year of teaching! I love helping kids have fun while learning, and it is important to me that when they are at school, they feel successful, happy, and safe. I have the best job; it's exhausting, but never boring!

Hometown: I was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, but have lived in Corona most of my life. My educational roots are in Corona; I attended Vicentia and Lincoln Alternative Schools, and graduated from Corona High School many, many moons ago.
Family: I am the proud mother of two awesome kids, Meghan and Grant. I married my husband, Brad, in 2009, and gained two more kids, McKenzie and Quinten. We are a very busy, fun-loving, sports-oriented family. We love being outdoors when we can.
Hobbies: I enjoy hiking with my kids and our boxer, Sadie, and going to UFC gym when possible. I also read or get outside and do some gardening when I have the time. Cooking and baking for my family makes me happy, and so does eating!

The Department of Education seeks to have every teacher certified in the area in which they are teaching. If this criteria is met, the teacher is "Highly Qualified".
