What is WEB?WEB, or Where Everybody Belongs, is a middle school orientation and transition program that welcomes 7th graders (or any new students) and aims to make them feel comfortable throughout their first year of their middle school experience. Through this nationally recognized middle school transition program, 8th grade WEB leaders were trained over spring (Spring 'Play Day') and summer (14 hours training + 11 hours of orientation) to act as positive role models, mentors, and teachers who guide the 7th graders to discover what it takes to be successful in middle school.Schools have reported that the WEB middle school transition program has enhanced anti-bullying efforts, reduced discipline issues, and increased school safety, creating an improved school climate and a greater sense of connection for the whole school. WEB is called 'Link Crew' at the high school level and Roosevelt High School has this program. For more information, please contact our school's counselor and/or Mr.PassJust a reminder that Friday, 10 February, is the last day to order your awesome WEB hoodies.
