Cell Phone PolicyPhones may be used as communication devices with parents during passing periods, lunch, before school, after school, and with staff permission. Phones may not be used in buildings unless staff permission has been given. Screen sharing is not allowed, as it is difficult to ensure that appropriate content is being shared with other students. Phones are not to be used to view or share social media. Phones are not to be used to take pictures or video. When using a phone, students are asked to step away from other students to avoid the appearance of screen sharing. Phones are confiscated by staff and released to students at the end of the day for a FIRST violation of our cell phone policy. Cell phones are released to parents only for further violations, and progressive discipline as outlined by the Citation Page of the planner is assigned to the student.
