Student Store/ASB Activities:
  • Seniors- If you pre-ordered a t-shirt at Registration, bring your ID to the student store and pick it up.  Shirts are now on sale to those who did not purchase at registration.
  • The Homecoming ballot is officially on-line.  Log into our website and cast your vote for your favorite nominee for King and Queen!  Let’s rock the vote, Panthers!
  • If you bought pictures at registration, come pick them up in the student store.
  • Tickets for this year’s Homecoming Dance, The Oasis are on sale today for the last day to get the price of $24 with ASB and $26 without an ASB card. If you are bringing a guest from another school, a Dance Guest Pass must be filled out prior to purchasing a ticket for the guest.  Your ID card is required to purchase your ticket.  If you purchased a Senior Value Pack or Dance Package, you are already on the list!  Don’t miss out!
  • Seniors:  Do you want to be in your senior yearbook?  Have you had your picture taken yet?  If you haven’t, you need to contact DC Photography and schedule a time.  They will be on campus tomorrow, but you MUST have an appointment.  Call 290-7276 to schedule your appointment.  Don’t miss your opportunity.
  • The following colleges will be here this week in Room J-1:  La Sierra University, Monday, 10/12 during first lunch only and Salem College from North Dakota, on Wednesday, 10/14 during both lunches.
  • Join the Photography Club now! Take pictures, develop film, and create your own pictures. The first organizational meeting is on Wednesday, October 14th before school and during 2nd lunch in S201.
  • Interact will be holding the member meeting today after school in room H-7. Please join us to review World Kindness and plan our activities for the remainder of 2015.
  • The Fall Choir Concert is this Wednesday, October 14 at 7pm in our beautiful Performing Arts Building. Come support our Corona High students as they perform in their first concert of the school year. Presale Tickets are on sale now for $5 in the student store. They will be $8 at the door. All proceeds benefit the CHS choral program.
  • Can you sing? Can you dance? Can you play an instrument? What is your talent? Sign up for the 8th annual CHS Talent Show! Sign up in room S204 this week!
  • PSAT will be administered to AVID 9th graders, ALL 10th, and ALL 11th graders this Wednesday, October 14th.  Testing will start promptly at 7:40am. Please make sure you are in your assigned classrooms and ready to test. Bring a number 2 pencil and a calculator. 9th and 12th graders – you will report to school by 9am on Wednesday, October 14th. Make sure you are on time and in your designated classroom/location. Attendance will be taken. 1st period teachers will let all students know where they are to check in for the PSAT or grade level activities for Wednesday.  Do not be late!!!
  • Hey Panthers!  Have you signed into MyCNUSD yet?  If not, log into our Corona High website.  By signing up, you get the opportunity to download Microsoft Office2016 to 5 devices for free.  This is a DISTRICT competition to see which school gets the most students on, so let’s show them that the Orignial CNUSD high school is the best one out there! RAWR!
  • Are you an AP student struggling in your AP classes?  Please go to the library to get tutored by a lead AP Ambassador.  Ask your AP teacher for the support calendar or go to the CHS website to see when Lead Tutors are available to help you.
  • Panthers, we know it is warm outside, but PLEASE continue to follow the CNUSD dress code.  The dress code is in your student planner for your reading/ following pleasure.  RAWR
  • Students and staff, please donate your used backpacks to the front office or H3 for a UNITY activity. The last day to donate is this Friday, October 16th. Thank you!
  • Hey Panthers! Need help in some of your classes? After school tutoring has started with one subject per day, here’s the breakdown:  Mondays – World Languages, Tuesdays – Science, Wednesdays- Math and Thursdays- English-Language Arts. Tutoring takes place in the library; if the location has to change we’ll put a sign on the door with where to go.  Get those good grades, kiddies!
  • Hey Panthers, just a reminder to me mindful of your surroundings to and from school! Please let the school offices or security know of any suspicious behavior on or near the campus!
  • Panthers, we hope you’ve had a great start to the 15-16 school, year. Remember to take pride in all you do both in and outside of the classroom by working hard and maintaining a clean campus. Please be sure you are utilizing the trash cans during lunch meet all your trash needs.
