Never used a computer before?  Had some practice but feel like there is something your are missing?  This is the place to start!  This class provides an introduction to computer basics.  This class focuses on the skills essential to using the computer:  terminology, hardware, keyboarding, mouse usage, starting programs, storing files and much more!  EVERYONE learns something from this class!!  Class may be cancelled if it doesn’t meet minimum enrollment.  USB Flash Drive Required.

Managing Files (Windows Vista)

As digital cameras and MP3 players have found their way into homes, large numbers of picture, video, and music files have found their way onto computers.  Learn how to organize your pictures, videos, and music.  Explore Windows Photo Gallery.  Find out how to burn CDs and DVDs.  This class is taught at a level that assumes that students have computer experience and a basic understanding of computers.  Continue to learn new skills, and practice the skills that you have already acquired.  Class may be cancelled if it does not meet minimum enrollment.  USB Flash Drive Required.

Microsoft Excel is an electronic spreadsheet program.  It allows you to work with numbers and data much more efficiently than the pe-ad-paper method.  Excel is used in virtually all industries and many households for a variety of tasks.  Excel is not just used to crunch numbers, it ca also track databases.  Use Excel for budgets, vacation lists, fitness charts, and graphs.  Class may be cancelled if it doesn’t meet minimum enrollment.  USB Flash Drive Required.
