This is a very exciting time here at Ramirez Intermediate as our school has been chosen to be one of six school sites hosting the CNUSD Broad Prize Visit. Here are a couple of outstanding points to know about this incredible honor:

The Broad Prize is sponsored by the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation--a national education philanthropy based in Los Angeles by Eli and Edythe Broad.
Mr. Broad is a businessman who founded two Fortune 500 companies: KB Homes (Kauffmann Broad) and SunAmerica.
The Broad Prize was started in order to recognize the most improved large urban districts in the nation.
Simply being named one of the four finalists for the Broad Prize--considered the Nobel Prize in education--is a tremendous honor and a real testament to our district's progress and practices.
CNUSD has been nominated for the 2^nd year in a row!
