Seventy students and three volunteers were honored on Thursday, April 26, at Corona-Norco Unified School District’s annual Tribute to Education event.

The event was held at Norco High School’s new Performing Arts Center and featured performances by the Norco High School Jazz Ensemble. Ssgt. Spratley led the Norco High School AFJROTC in the presentation of the colors at the beginning of the event. CNUSD Deputy Superintendent Michael Lin and Assistant Superintendent Tom Pike presented the awards, and all five members of the Board of Education greeted award recipients on stage.

Guests included Norco Mayor Kevin Bash, Corona Mayor Pro Tem Jason Scott, Eastvale Chamber of Commerce President Jorge Razo, and CNUSD parents, students, teachers, administrators and district employees.

“The entire district is proud of these students and volunteers for their talents, dedication and achievements,” said Pike.
