• A.R. Information

Grade Equivalent Score - This "score" is based on the range your child is currently reading.  It tells what corresponding grade level those books are (ex. 4.5 would be the middle of fourth grade  6.0 would be the beginning of sixth grade).
Range - This is the range your child should use for choosing books. (ex. 3.4-4.4 means that the lowest book they may take a test on is a middle of third grade and the highest books they may read and take a test on is the middle of fourth grade).
**ALSO, EVERY STUDENT HAS AN A.R. CARD.
THEIR RANGE IS THE HIGHLIGHTED NUMBERS ON THEIR CARD.
Points - This is the amount of points your child must have by the end of the trimester.  The AR grade will be based on the percentage of points they earn.  The points correspond to the level they are currently reading.  The students will be retested each trimester.
