Students should be focusing on learning one list at a time.

All Sight Words must be mastered by April.

After students learn to read the words, we will be moving on to spell all the kinder Sight Words.

Ideas for Learning Sight Words at Home

    * Tape flashcards around the house (on the TV, bathroom mirror, refrigerator, bedroom wall, etc.)

and have your child read them each day before watching TV, brushing their teeth, eating a snack, going to bed, etc.

    * Select several Sight Words, Have your child look for them in book, magazines, or on food packages.

    * Make two sets of flash cards and play games like memory or Go Fish.
