• What are a-g requirements?

The University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) require entering freshmen to complete certain courses in high school. These are called the "a through g" courses.   The CSU requires a minimum 15-units of courses for admission as a first-time freshman. UC's recommend additional years in some areas.  A student must complete at least 11 "a-g" courses by the end of your junior year with a minimum grade of C in each.
