All About Miss Munger
My name is Samantha Munger.  I graduated from California Baptist University in May 2011 with a degree in Liberal Studies and a Concentration in Human Development: Life-Span.  I graduated at the top 10% of my class.  I immediately entered into the credential program, also at California Baptist University.  In fall of 2012, I started my student teaching at Washington Elementary with my mentor Julie Ernst.  I earned my Multiple Subject Credential in December 2012, finishing with a 4.0 GPA.
I started subbing at Washington Elementary in January 2013.  I completed a long-term subbing assignment from December 2013-February 2014 at Washington working with the RSP students in grades 1-3.  In March 2014, I was hired as a Temp Specialist, working to develop and implement an Intervention program, based solely on using online computer programs.  The program Mr. Tolley and I developed is the Computer-Mediated Intervention program your child participates in during the 2014-15 school year.  Our CMI program incorporates learning in fun ways, using the technology that children love to use.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email either myself or Mr. Tolley.  We will do our best to an answer to you promptly.
***Fun fact!  I attended Washington Elementary as a student for grades 3-6!  Mrs. Pohanish was my 3rd grade teacher!  There are many teachers here at Washington that I have looked up to for many years.  My younger siblings had Mrs. Ernst as a 3rd grade teacher and she has been my mentor for everything teaching since then.  I completed many of my college-level observations in her classroom and she has helped guide me to be the teacher I am today.
