From the time I was a freshman in high school, taking all the available Family and Consumer Science (FACS) classes offered and being a part of the FCCLA, I new that I wanted to be a FACS teacher. There is something so unique and special about these classes. I wanted the opportunity to take the skills that I learned and share them with amazing young adults. So with a lot of determination, 5 colleges, 10 years at the junior high level, and one year of teaching something other than Family and Consumer Sciences, I am finally where I belong, at Centennial teaching Culinary Arts courses. I am in the process of creating a career pathway, which will allow students to take a series of 3 - year long courses, earn certifications, as well as college credit.
Even though I love cooking, baking, designing, and being with the best students ever; I love spending time with my amazing husband and three very adorable boys. When I am not here, you can find me in the great outdoors (the beach is my favorite), attending sporting events, and anything family/mommy related.
