This program offers incoming freshmen cadets and current cadets an opportunity to learn leadership and communication skills in a tightly controlled and monitored training environment.  Additionally, a physical fitness program and military orientation trips are part of the training schedule.  On a voluntary basis, active military members will teach academics, chaperone activities, and conduct training.  Senior cadets, who excelled in AFJROTC and graduated from a previous SLS, serve as senior training cadre in positions ranging from group commander to imbedded mentors.
