How often does my child have oral language assignments?

Your child will have a minimum of 3 oral language assignments each trimester between Mrs. Coronado's class and mine.

Much of their Oral Language grade is taken from class/group discussion and collaborative activities.
If you have any questions, please email me ahead of time to address the concerns.

I need to get a message or object to my child. What should I do?

If it is an emergency, please call the office and they will see that the student receives the message. If it is an
object (ie. lunch, sports practice clothes), please place it on the student table in the office.
Students will pick up their belongings at the appropriate time.

My child lost his jacket, lunchpail, etc. Where can he look for it?

Please check the lost and found bins located outside of the Kinder building. Some items like
wallets, eye glasses, and phones, are kept in the office at the front desk. You can ask one of the helpful office
    ladies for assistance.

It is my child's birthday. Can we have a party?

Birthdays are wonderful turning points to celebrate. However, due to laws requiring that a specific number of minutes
be devoted to instruction and learning each day, we ask that birthday party celebrations remain at home. In addition,
our campus policy states that all classes will have only 2 parties per year- a winter holiday party and an
end-of-year party. I would love for you to attend; please notify me in advance.
