     Collaboratively Supporting School & District Planning
    The District Advisory Council (DAC) meets at least four times per year to provide input to the Local Educational Agency (LEA) Plan.  This group also serves as an opportunity for parents to provide input for certain items according to Board Policy or State Law.

    Schools have a School Site Council to develop, recommend to the local governing board for approval, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
     
    What are the responsibilities of a SSC? 
    • Establish and maintain bylaws.
    • Maintain records (e.g. elections, official correspondence).
    • Establish and regularly review Parent Involvement Policy and Home-School Compact (required for Title1 schools).
    • Develop, monitor and evaluate Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)
    • Get input from other advisory councils and committees.

    Las escuelas tiene un SSC para desarrollar, recomendar a la mesa de gobernación local para aprobar, monitorear y evaluar la eficacia del Plan escolar para el rendimiento estudiantil (SPSA).
     
    ¿Qué son las responsabilidades de SSC?
    • Establecer y mantener las leyes
    • Mantener archivos (p. ej. elecciones, correspondencia oficial)
    • Establecer y regularmente repasar la Política de la participación de padres y Compromiso de casa-escuela (requerido para las escuelas Titulo 1).
    • Desarrollar, monitorear y evaluar el Plan escolar para el rendimiento estudiantil (SPSA)
    • Obtener aporte de otros comités de aconsejaría y comités.
