Personalizing Learning to Support the Whole Child Our vision is to actively engage students through digital learning including personalization, self-paced, collaborative learning documented in an online and blended academic environment, supporting the whole child socially and emotionally.
As we research and develop best practices, we are committed to working collaboratively to find solutions that fit the needs and culture of CNUSD. To this end, an Educational Technology Steering Committee meets monthly to set the vision, develop implementation plans, and provide oversight throughout plan implementation. The committee is comprised of a broad representation of classroom teachers, site administrators, district office teachers on special assignment, and district administrators from a variety of divisions. Last spring, this committee defined the “Base Classroom Technology” which includes items covered by Measure GG (to be rolled out over the next 5 years) and made recommendations for teacher computers which are refreshed at least every 5 years.
