• DearParents,

Welcome to Kindergarten / First Grade at Rosa Parks Elementary School! I look forward to sharing many interesting and exciting learning activities for the 2016-2017 school year. My name is Ms. Nakamura and I will be your child’s teacher this year.

I received my B.S. Degree in Child and Adolescent Development and my teaching credential from California State University, Fullerton. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my dogs, reading, and hiking.

I am very excited to get to know you and your children. My work is very important to me and I am highly committed to my students. My mission is to guide your children to believe in themselves through both positive and negative times and ensure their academic success.  I hold high expectations for each student in regards to their academic, social, emotional, and physical well being. I want to provide your children with a comfortable, safe environment in which they are respected and treated fairly, a place where they will learn the lifeskills they need to be independent, confident, and happy individuals. I hope to inspire your children to be the best they can be and develop a lifetime love for learning.

I look forward to an exciting, busy year. Your support is greatly appreciated. If you have any concerns please contact me at (951) 736-7305. My e-mail address is mary.nakamura@cnusd.k12.ca.us.  I am not available during class time, but if you leave a message, I will return your call/e-mail as soon as possible.

    Sincerely,

    Ms. Nakamura
