Degrees and Certifications:
At Rosa Parks, we have high expectations of all members of our community. We challenge, collaborate, and celebrate our successes to create a culture where all students can succeed.
Another new year is here. Students, be ready to step up to writing, writing narratives, informational and persuasive essays, and single paragraph summaries.
This is a year of transition as every prior year has been too. Now, we transition into the middle school expectations, a time of increased responsibility and a time to build character, respect, responsibility, integrity, caring, and perseverance.
I am Mrs. Tiffany Dilley, and I hope to make this a positive year for your child. I operate a very collaborative classroom, discussion (on-topic conversation) and moving around. We learn with and from each other. This year, the focus for homework will be on reading, writing, and typing. Students will access www.typingtest.com to increase their words per minute (WPM) in their typing. Additional homework will be assigned.
This year is also a year of transition for my family; the Dilleys have 2 boys, Brixton who is 6 and Cole who will be 1 this May. My husband, Keith, and I have been married for 14 years this April and met while both working at Carl's Jr. nearly 20 years ago. We are both crazy about our boys. As a family, we enjoy playing baseball, visiting museums, and exploring outdoors. This is my 14th year teaching. I began at Temescal Valley Elementary where I taught 3rd grade for 3 years and have since been here teaching in the 4th grade until now! Sixth grade will be new and exciting for your kiddo and me as well.
Cheers to a fantastic 6th grade year!
