     Basic Attendance Rules and Policies:
    1. Maximum allotted time out:
      • 12 full-day absences, or 72 period absences (per school year)
      • 10 absences in a given period (per school year)
      • 20 tardies in all classes (per school year)
    2. Students who are tardy report directly to class, including 1st period, up to the first 15 minutes of class. Students who arrive later than that must report to the Attendance Office.
    3. Medical notes must be provided if a student is out for a medical reason.
    4. Text from parent to student may not be used to release a student from class. All calls must be directed to the Attendance Office or Health Office.
    5. Sick students should only stay home if they have a fever, are vomiting, or a contagious illness. All other reasons are not justified reasons to be absent, nor will the Health Office call parent should a student ask to go home (e.g. menstrual cramps, headache, nausea).
