Welcome Back, Timberwolves!
Welcome back, parents and students! We hope you settled in during the first week of school and are ready for more! Here are a few dates and upcoming events for the start of the school year!
Monday, August 21st - Solar Eclipse Sun-dae Party!
What better way to commemorate this rare event than with ice cream! JFK Booster Club will be serving sundaes to all of the students during lunch (unfortunately shortly after the eclipse, but we can still celebrate!) from 12:01 to 12:33 pm. If you would like to donate items for this event, we will be needing 9 oz. clear cups, spoons, and lots and lots of Oreos! Please email us if you can provide items or if you would like to volunteer to help at the event.
Wednesday, August 23rd - Back to School Night! 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Come meet our new principal, Mrs. Gonzales! She will fill us in on her vision for the upcoming school year. You will also follow your student's schedule and hear from teachers on their policies and expectations in the classroom. Don't forget to stop by the Booster Club table to make a donation or sign up for our Press-Enterprise / Orange County Register Newspaper Fundraiser! For only $1.00, you can get one year of the Sunday edition of the Press-Enterprise and/or OC Register. This year the company will accept up to 5 subscriptions per household! Think of all the coupons! We will receive MORE funds from the company if you pay by check or credit card, but will gladly accept cash. We will have flyers available at Back to School Night. Please support the many activities we provide our students and staff!
Monday, August 28th - First Day of Fall Term at Norco College!
Be sure your student has made the necessary changes to their schedule if they have a college class during school. If they are trying to add a college class, they will need to let their JFK teacher know ahead of time. For more information, visit our webpage at http://www.cnusd.k12.ca.us/Page/32529
Monday, August 28th - TRAFFIC BEGINS
Please plan to arrive earlier than usual! Many of us know that the traffic during the first few weeks of the term is extremely heavy. Please be patient! Norco College police have given tickets for stopping along Third Street to drop off students.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us!
Don't forget to Like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter! JFK Booster Club / @jfkboosterclub
We're looking forward to another great year! Thank you for your continued support!

The Great California ShakeOut is coming on October 20th. Once again,

would better complete our school's emergency kits. Please let us know

3 Hard Hats
6 Dust Masks
6 Safety Goggles
7 Safety Vests
4 Boxes Ziplock Bags (assorted sizes)
3 Rolls Paper Towels

Or if you would like to make a small cash/check donation toward a larger
item, you can drop an envelope off at the office. Please write that
the funds are for JFK Booster Club: Emergency Kits.
Norco College Fees now include Transportation!
If you've noticed, the college fees went up a few dollars. This is
because they added a Transportation Fee. Like some other RCC campuses,
Norco College Students can now ride the RTA bus FOR FREE! Students will
need to show their Norco College student ID when boarding. The buses
come directly on campus. For bus stops and schedules, please visit the
