A traditional learning day, defined by specific periods of time, does not fit the learning style of all students. To meet the needs of personalization and individualization, the CNUSD Hybrid High School schedule will be built around the concept of “Anchor Times” and “Academic Support”. During Anchor Times, students will be involved in teacher directed collaborative learning activities dictated by the students Learning Playlist. Academic Support time is available at the beginning and end of each day. During this time student’s can work independently or in small groups with the support of a teacher when needed.
Although CoLabs are available to all students five days a week, the actual time a student will be required to be present will vary depending on the students ability to work independently and their academic needs. The assignment of Anchor Times will be determined by the instructors and the students’ Learning Playlist. The Schedule
