• Who Can Join?
Absolutely anyone! Parents, guardians, students, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, friends, neighbors, businesses, etc. are all welcome. A PTSA membership is $7.00 and each one of your children attending Citrus Hills will receive credit for the total number of memberships turned in. There are great participation incentives for the students including a donut party for the class with the most memberships and fun raffle prizes! You may become a member at any time during the school year!

    How Do I Get Involved?
We are always looking for help. Different programs and activities require long-term and short-term chairmen and committee members/helpers. Therefore, volunteers are needed throughout the school year for all tracks.

Must a Member Attend PTSA Meetings?
No, but everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. YOUR OPINION COUNTS!

What Is the Difference Between a PTSA General Meeting and a PTSA Board Meeting?
A PTSA General Meeting is called for the purpose of conducting business which requires a vote of the general membership such as approval of the budget, fund raisers and PTSA calendar, forming a nominating committee, and holding elections. Only PTSA members may vote at these meetings. We hold a few of these per school year.

A PTSA Board Meeting involves the elected officers of the PTSA and the chairmen. These meetings are held monthly to discuss upcoming events and the ongoing business of the organization. If a member wishes to attend one of these meetings, they are welcome to do so, but are asked to please inform the PTSA Board.

What If I Have a Question or a Concern About the PTSA or a PTSA Program?
Citrus Hills PTSA is here to serve ALL the children. If questions arise, please bring them to the attention of the PTSA President or the Principal. They will be happy to answer questions and pleased to have your input. Please do not hesitate to call the school at 736-4600.
