• Picture Medical Forensics

    Welcome to Medical Forensics!!!!  This is an elective course that will begin in 2017-2018 School year See below for course description.  

    C ourse Description: Actual title is "exploring medical and health care careers" but it will be a medical forensics class. Does the field of healthcare and medicine fascinate you?  Do you like solving crimes?  Then this is the class for you.  This is a yearlong elective course that any 7th or 8th grade student can take.  It is for students that are interested in exploring careers in the medical and health care field and it will have a specific emphasis on medical forensics.    It will include DNA, finger printing, medical terminology, medical math, vital signs (First aid, CPR, blood pressure), laboratory activities, community outreach, and preparation for the JUMP (junior up-and-coming medical professionals) conference in Anaheim CA 2018 (attendance is not mandatory).  What are you waiting for?  Come be part of a brand-new class here at ARIS!
