Extra Credit for Language Arts
1. Write a short story narrative. Describe an event, scene, or situation. Must have a beginning, climax, and conclusion.
2. 1–2 pages typed, 12 pt. Font size, double spaced. Include a creative title and illustration or visual to put up when you present.
3. Use sensory words, description, show-not-tell writing. Include figurative language like simile, metaphors, alliteration, hyperbole, or personification.
4. Present it to class. Stand and read it to the class with feeling! Must present to get the extra credit.
**Must present on or before Friday October 6.
Will raise your grade half a letter grade (for example, if you have a 75% C, it will raise you to an 80% B-)
