Mrs. Deena Rodriguez
Assistant Principal, 11th Grade
Mrs. Deena Rodriguez joined the Panther family in January of 2016. Mrs. Rodriguez brings with her a total of 22 years of experience in education, having spent the last five years as a high school administrator. Prior to becoming an administrator, Mrs. Rodriguez was an RSP teacher, testing coordinator, dean of discipline, and behavior intervention specialist. Mrs. Rodriguez earned her B.A. in Liberal Studies from Cal State San Bernardino, and Masters of Science in Education from California Baptist University.
As an Assistant Principal at Corona High, she is responsible for overseeing the STEM and CTE programs. In addition to that, she works with counselors, and the career center specialist. Her goal as an educator and an instructional leader at Corona High is to foster an environment that values diversity, social growth, and life-long learning for both staff and students. She aims to work with all staff to ensure that all students at Corona High are prepared to lead productive, civic-minded lives in our ever-evolving environment.
Outside of her work day, Mrs. Rodriguez enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her family, which she refers to as The Rodriguez Trio, consists of herself, her husband, and her son. They are huge soccer fanatics and root for Manchester United along with Corona’s BYSC which her son plays for. She also enjoys baking and listening to music.
