GATE: Adams Elementary

  • Adams logo In order to meet the needs of all of our students at John Adams Elementary School, those students identified as GATE are provided with differentiated instruction. We do our best to cluster our GATE students into classrooms so that teachers can more readily enrich their learning experience. Although the same grade level standards are taught to all students, GATE students are provided with opportunities to go above and beyond, and learn at a deeper level based on their abilities. Throughout the school day GATE students are leveled and participate in small group instruction based on their needs for Reading and Math.  Book Clubs, Peer tutoring, and Math Clubs help to enrich our students as well.  Students are given opportunities to enrich their learning experience through research, extended reading with peers, and technology along with opportunities to participate in Science Fair, History Day and Math Field Day are also available to our GATE students.

For more information about our GATE program, please contact the school at (951) 736-3313.
