WELCOME to the Corona Fundamental Intermediate School website. CFIS is a school of choice where traditional values and high expectations meet. Our students receive standards-based instruction in a year-round, four-track school. For the past six years, our students have achieved above 800 on their Academic Performance Index, the highest of all secondary schools in the District. This year (2010,) students achieved 853 on their API, a truly remarkable achievement. CFIS has incredible PTA support and their efforts contribute to our continuing growth. During the next few months, our website will grow. Please check back often to see our new additions as we build our site. In addition, please follow us on Facebook.

Neighborhood Parking: We understand that parking is tricky, but, we kindly ask that all members of the CFIS learning community respect the neighborhood and please do not block driveways with your vehicles.
Cell Phone usage is not allowed in school building. They can be used before and after school, and during lunch break.

    PTSA NEEDS YOU!
     
    With California schools ranked 49 out of 51 states in academic funding, its time to be a part of the solution by joining PTSA.  The PTSA board on your students campus raises money to fill the gaps created by the state cut backs. By becoming a PTSA board member you will be an integral part of your students success. Currently our Executive Board is in need of a President and Treasurer in order to maintain its unit in good standing status with California State PTA, if these two positions are not filled PTSA will not be able to conduct business on campus and many activities and support would be canceled.
     
    PTA offers training for all positions, so no prior experience is necessary. There is a wide range of positions available and most can be done within the confines of any schedule. We can find a position that works for you!

    Bring your used ink cartridges and cellphones to the computer lab or to ACP to support CFIS. Your donations will help CFIS purchase school supplies and new technology. Every little bit helps!

    Due to the inappropriate content of the clothing brand BLVD, the administration has decided NOT to allow this brand of clothing at CFIS.
