  • Summer Office Hours:

    8am to 2pm. Office will be closed from June 20th to July 15th. Regular office hours will resume on Wednesday, August 3rd. Regular Office Hours will be: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 7:45am to 4:15pm & Wednesdays 7:15am to 3:45pm.

    Who should go? All incoming 7th graders! WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) welcome activities, fun stuff, campus tour! When: Thursday, August 4 here at RHIS last name A-L 9am -12noon, M-Z 1pm-4pm Parent Meeting in Library @4:30pm

  • Textbook Distribution Dates:

    Friday, Aug 5th 7th grade: 7:45am-4:15pm, Monday, Aug 8th 8th grade: 7:45am-4:15pm, Tuesday Aug 9th 7th & 8th grade 11:00am-7:00pm Note: The Library will NOT be open afterschool on the 1st day of school for textbook pick-up. Thank you for planning ahead to pick your your textbooks before the first day of school.

  • 2016-2017 Student Schedules:

    All RHIS students will receive their schedule on the first day of school. Students will report to the MPR/GYM to learn where their Homeroom classroom is located. Homeroom teachers will distribute student schedules and assist students in determining if they have first lunch or second lunch.

 River Heights offers a wide range of programs, including:  Honors classes, English Language Development, Special Education, AVID, Career and College Prep/Awareness, Robotics, Advanced Mathematics, Award Winning Science department, Recognized Band/Choir, Champion Intramural Sports, Life Management, 3D Computer Science classes, etc.  Students can also choose from a wide variety of exploratory classes include: computer science, foreign language, career tech, and life management classes. To help students succeed we also offer academic intervention classes in math and language arts.  During the school day, all students have an academic support core teacher who focuses on literacy and provides both enrichment and study skills to assist students.
Student Programs: AVID, Language Arts, Math, PE, Science, History, Exploratory, Band, Computer Science, Robotics, Life Management, Band/Choir, Guitar, School Newspaper, Colts Daily Video News, Yearbook, Special Education, Honors/GATE, RSP, SDC, ELL, ASB & Leadership, Various Clubs, WEB (Welcome Every Body), Math & Language Arts Academy/Interventions.
