    3. Composition Notebook (JOURNAL)
    4. Lined Paper
    5. BALLPOINT Pen (NO Gel or Felt-tip)

    * 35mm Film Camera (See *CAMERA* entry below)
    * Black & White 35mm Film - (See *FILM* entry below)
     - - NOT C41, CN, or E6 Films! (these are color films!)
    * Black & White Polycontrast or VARIABLE Contrast Photo Paper (paper)

    *CAMERA*                                                                                                                                  Centennial Photography has a VERY LIMITED number of 35mm Cameras available for students to check out - - WITH SIGNED PARENT PERMISSION AND ACCEPTANCE OF FULL FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT IN CASE OF LOSS OR DAMAGE TO THE SCHOOL PROPERTY.

    These 35mm Cameras are in CONSTANT use by many students throughout the semester and availability is unreliable. Responsible students may borrow equipment according to a 3-day / 2-night schedule IF both parent and student accept full responsibility for any damage to Centennial property which will result in a replacement or repair fee / "obligation" determined by a specialist.

    Signatures are kept on file in room 305.

    *FILM*  (paper)                                                                                                                                     Centennial has the chemistry and equipment to process true Black & White FILM and paper ONLY.

    CNUSD will provide, and make available for purchase, acceptable medium grade Black & White film (& photo paper).

    Students seeking higher quality may prefer Kodak Tri-X 400, Plus X 125, TMAX 100 or 400 35mm film. ALWAYS PURCHASE 36-Exposure rolls of film.  Agfa, Fuji, and Ilford also make acceptable brands of Black & White film and polycontrast photo paper.
    UNACCEPTABLE*
    FILMS are LABELED in tiny print: CN, or "process in C41" or E6 chemistry. THESE ARE COLOR FILMS and CANNOT be processed at Centennial! Be Careful when purchasing film off campus!  THE PACKAGING IS DECEIVING!

    Supplies Available for purchase (and ownership) at Centennial:

    *B&W 35mm Film 36exp.- 100 or 400iso = $3.00 each
    *B&W Photo Paper 8x10 Variable Contrast = $14.00 per 25 sheets
    *Negative Preservers or Print Pockets = $1.00 for 3
    *Mounting Materials (ANY size) = $4.00

    Students may purchase individual items (through the student store with CASH) according to the following menu:

     - Single Print (ANY Size) = $1.00
     - Proof Sheet w/ Negatives in Preserver = $5.00
     - Mounting Materials (ANY size) = $4.00

    Pay with CASH ONLY at the CeHS Student Store.  Tell the store clerk that your payment is for PHOTO CLASS - Then CHECK YOUR RECEIPT and SAVE YOUR RECEIPT!!!  Present your RECEIPT to Ms. B to pick up your purchase.

    STUDENTS are responsible for safe handling and storage of private and borrowed supplies.                             

     
    COME TO CLASS PREPARED DAILYALWAYS BRING NECESSARY CLASSROOM AND PHOTOGRAPHIC SUPPLIES!
     
    We have VERY short class periods and you MUST COME TO CLASS PREPARED!  Do not expect locker passes.

    Students Will Learn Safe and Frugal Handling of All Heat and Light Sensitive Materials.

    FAULTY PICTURE-TAKING, Negligence, or PROCESSING ERRORS WILL RESULT IN THE STUDENT REQUIREMENT TO PROMPTLY RE-TAKE / RE-DO THE ASSIGNMENT!

    *Supplies Provided by Centennial are the PROPERTY of CNUSD and must remain on file in the classroom.
    **Students may choose to privatize and own their necessary supplies through CASH purchase at the student store.
