Physical Education

Physical Education at JFK is taught from the perspective that we will be able to take care of our body’s now and for as long as we physically can. The goal is to get students to exercise for themselves and to build confidence mentally and physically. We want all students to know how to take care of their bodies and at least give students a choice to take care of themselves, or not, by educating them in nutrition, mental health, and physical health. With this in mind, P.E at J.F.K focuses on diet, nutrition, and activity that is and will be relevant for years to come.  Our physical education class includes a variety of games and activities, but mostly a routine that will focus on getting your child in the best physical shape they can be before they move into the next step in their lives. The better habits students develop now usually the better habits students have in the future.

If we fail at taking care of our personal health how do we expect to take care of others?
