At Susan B. Anthony Elementary School, all of our 3rd through 6th grade teachers are highly qualified seasoned veteran teachers. Each of the teachers has been at SBA Elementary for at least 10 years and has been teaching for an average of 14 years. All of our seasoned veteran teachers have a wide variety of experiences with teaching children and are easily able to differentiate instruction in mathematics or language arts to fit the needs of our GATE students. At SBA, our students can count on being challenged to reach their academic potential.
Beyond the school day, GATE students voluntary participate in a free after-school enrichment program that occurs two to three times each month. Within the confines of the program students collaborate with other GATE students on K’Nex activities, dissecting owl pellets, cultivating flower gardens, competing in math field day games, competing in chess and numerous other board games, constructing plastic models, or working with modeling sand. Students are encouraged to collaborate and interact with students with similar interests and academic aptitudes.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mr. White, our GATE Coordinator. He has been the GATE Coordinator at our school for 8 years and currently runs the voluntary after-school enrichment program. Mr. White can be reached at (951) 739-5655 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
