    Graduation Requirements:

     

    Diplomas from the Corona-Norco Unified School District shall be granted by the Board of Education to students who have completed the high school course requirements of 220 credits earned, and who have passed the California High School Exit Exam.

    Social Sciences:

    World History

    US History

    Government/Economics

    1 year

    1 semester each = 1 year

    30 Credits

    Health

    5 Credits - 1 semester

    Mathematics

    (must include algebra 1AB &/or A/B & C/D)

    20 Credits - 2 years

    (10 credits must be from Algebra)

    Biological Sciences

    10 Credits - 1 year

    Physical Science

    10 Credits - 1 year

    Physical Education

    20 Credits - 2 years

    Foreign Language or Fine Art

    10 Credits - 1 year

    Electives

    75 Credits

    Total Credits Required

    220 Credits

     

    Beginning with the class of 2006, all California public school students must pass the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE).  Students not successfully passing both the Language Art and Mathematics portions of the CAHSEE will not receive a high school diploma; but a certificate of completion instead.
