The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) emphasizes high standards of scholarship and community service for California high school students. Founded in 1921, the California Scholarship Federation is the oldest scholarship institution in the state of California. To continue this tradition, the 2010-2011 school year will be Eleanor Roosevelt High School's inaugural year of CSF.

Meetings and Applications
Meetings will be on Tuesdays and special meetings will be announced on Facebook and news bulletins.
Application Information:
CSF Membership is only for 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. Students can only apply based on grades from 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. No grades/coursework from 9th grade will count. The first time potential members can join CSF is 2nd semester of their 10 grade year, based from that year’s 1st semester grades. Seniors wouldn’t be applying based on their 2nd semester grades of senior year because by then, they will already be off to college! th grade year, based on 1st semester grades. Semester 1 (August - December 2012) Application deadline is Wednesday, October 10th, 2012. |

Semester 2 (January - May 2013) Application deadline is Monday, February 4th, 2012. | Sophomores will start applying based on Semester 1 grades of 10th grade year. |

Of these 5 blocked semesters of eligibility, to meet requirements for Life Membership (Sealbearer), a student must be a member in at least 4 of 5 semesters, with at least 1 semester earned during his/her senior year.
Second semester is when 10th graders can apply for membership based from their first semester grades.
