Submitting Completed Applications
All applications must be submitted to the Human Resources Office prior to the final application date. You must fill out one job application for each position. Please include the job number on the application. Applications are not accepted through electronic mail, fax, traditional mail or the District "Pony" mail service. Please refer to the green sheets posted in the Human Resources Office for additional application information.
For certain positions, specific testing is required. A recent law has been passed regarding testing for Paraeducators. This law states that no test will be required if a person has 48 semester units or has an AA degree. If you possess either of these requirements, submit copies to be attached to your application. If you apply for more than one job, copies must be attached to each application. These copies must be with the application by the closing date of the recruitment. If they are not you will not be considered for the position. If you do not have 48 semester units or an AA degree, you must sign up for the No Child Left Behind test and pass it to be considered for the position. For bilingual Paraeducator openings, there is a Spanish Proficiency test. Testing is only scheduled when there is an open position. All testing sign-ups are done in Human Resources after a completed application is turned in. If a job requires testing it will be posted on the job flyer in Human Resources or on the 'details' link online next to the job posting.
Please Note: A picture identification is required at the time of testing. Failure to provide the proper identification will result in the applicant being denied entry to the test.
For Maintenance and Custodian positions, passing a medical examination is a requirement of employment.
Please Note: When using the online application, you may print the page and handwrite your information, or you may type directly on the application and then print it. There are two pages to the application. If you type directly on the application remember to sign and date it after you print it, and also to circle the highest grade level completed on the second page. Applications must be submitted in person to Human Resources.
