PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
As we begin the 2012-2013 year, we are excited at the possibilities for new beginnings here at Raney.  As the principal, I am excited to be working at a school with dedicated staff, parents and students.  This year Mrs. Hopton will be serving as the Assistant Principal and joining us as Student Advisor will be Mr. Erik Schulz, who comes to us from Auburndale Intermediate.  As a school staff, we are excited about the upcoming school year. 

Research has proven that the middle-level years are some of the most challenging times in a person’s life.  The staff at Raney Intermediate School understands the importance of balancing a challenging academic program with addressing the emotional and self-esteem needs of the students.  We are extremely committed to implementing programs that afford children the opportunity to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
