Lincoln Alternative News
Good Evening Lincoln Families,
I hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break and time off with their family. We are entering the home stretch of the school year and have a lot of exciting upcoming events. Below, you will find all of our end of the year dates and times. Please mark your calendars!
This Thursday is our Open House. We look forward to a fantastic night with our Lincoln families. We will be holding an opportunity for tours of our new buildings. We will having a brief ceremony beginning at 4:00 in the new MPR thanking the community for their support of Measure GG. PTA will hold a brief association meeting and self-guided tours will begin at approximately 4:30. Student Council representatives will be located at each of our new building locations to serve as tour guides to explain the locations and answer questions. There will also be some fun opportunities for the whole family. Light refreshments will be provided. We hope to see you there.
Beginning at 6:00 our regular Open House classroom visitations will commence for current students and parents. I know the teachers and students are eager to show you all of their hard work and growth that they have accomplished this school year.
Please keep our students safe during arrival and dismissal. With the opening of the front of the school, many parents have opted to drop off their students in the front. Please note, Fullerton Avenue is a very busy road and can get backed up during arrival times. Please pull all the way forward when dropping off your student, this expedites the drop off process of everyone. The back drop-off area is still the optimal location for dropping off students. If parking on Fullerton, please use our crosswalk located at the corner of Fullerton and Ford St. Mr. Ray does an excellent job at the crosswalk and is very friendly. Please use the crosswalk at all times. Students should never be dropped off in the parking lot. If parents wish to park in the lot, they must walk their students to the sidewalk using the designated crosswalks.
As a reminder, all campus visitors must check in at the front office before coming on campus. There is no visitor access from any other area on campus. Thank you for your support in keeping our students safe.
