Santiago Student Honored with USA Baseball Award

USA

One of Santiago High School’s freshman students was honored with a special award during  halftime at the Santiago-Roosevelt basketball game on Feb 12.    Last summer, Brice Turang competed on the USA Baseball’s 15U National team and was chosen as the USA Baseball’s Richard “Dick” Case–Player of the Year.  This marks the first time someone this young has ever won this award. Way to go Brice!  USA Baseball flew in a representative from North Carolina, Coach Brooks Webb, to present the award.
