On March 26th- 27th Norco High School, in conjunction with the California Highway Patrol, the Office of Traffic Safety, various city, county, state, and local community groups, hosted a program called Every 15 Minutes.
The Every 15 Minutes program is a two-day program focusing on high school juniors and seniors, which challenges them to think about drinking, driving, personal safety, the responsibility of making mature decisions and the impact their decisions have on family, friends, and many others. Day 1 consisted of a simulated crash scene/living dead followed by a mock funeral on Day 2.
An event like this is great preventative medicine for students outside the classroom involved in activities such as the prom or a dance. Hopefully something like this is so impactful in their lives that they will make the right decisions,” said Josh Cameron, Assistant Principal.
