Message from Our Principal

Hello Temescal Valley Families!

My name is Beth Feaster and I am thrilled to be your new principal.  I look forward to knowing all the students, parents, and community members affiliated with your school. I know Temescal Valley is a wonderful school and my goal is to forward its tradition of excellence.

I am beginning my 24th year with the Corona-Norco Unified School District. I am originally from the East Coast, New Jersey. I earned a science degree from Florida Institute of Technology and my master's degree in education through the Cal State system.  I was initially a classroom teacher for nine years, teaching kindergarten, first and fifth grades.  I then became a Beginning Teacher Support Provider for three years. I spent a year on special assignment, which led to an Assistant Principal position for another three and a half years.  I have been a Principal for the past four years.

Before becoming a full time teacher, I moved to the Corona area where I soon met my future husband.  (We will be married twenty nine years this December.)  We stayed in the Corona-Norco area where my husband was raised, and I worked, on and off, as a substitute teacher until my children reached school age. Our children are now married and on their own. My daughter works for Disneyland and my son is in the U.S. Navy.  We have many friends and much history in the area. And now I look forward to enriching that history in my new position at Temescal Valley.

Finally, I would like to say that after twenty four years I am still passionate about education. Not only do I believe that a well-educated citizenry is one of our country's greatest resources, but I have a true passion and compassion for children.  I look forward to the new school year, to meeting everyone, and along with parents, teachers, staff, and your new Assistant Principal, Mr. Vasquez, I look forward to a year learning, listening, and laughing.
