| At Todd Elementary, we take pride to ensure
that all students learn at high levels as we focus on the Common Core State
Standards. We are dedicated to prepare our students to be problem solvers
and acquire the necessary skills to be productive citizens and successful in
the 21st century.
As we venture into the Professional Learning Community process, our entire staff is committed to working collaboratively with colleagues and building partnerships with parents for the betterment of our students. Our staff is comprised of high quality and caring individuals who have the knowledge and skills necessary to help every child reach their highest potential.
Our “Toucan Traits” are an essential character building piece that teaches our students the importance of being a positive role model. We share the important message about respect, responsibility, perseverance, caring, tolerance, cooperation, honesty, Golden Rule and/or having a positive attitude with our students each day during our morning announcements. Students are rewarded with “Toucan Tokens” for demonstrating the “Toucan Traits” and making good choices that have a positive effect on themselves and others.
We are committed to provide the best educational program and learning experience for our students, and welcome any suggestions or questions you may have about the information contained in this report or about the school. We invite you to be part of our “Magical Brainforest” by becoming a volunteer, a PTA member, or joining us at any of our various events such as Family Nights, Family BBQs, assemblies, and Open House.
