Clara Barton Elementary School is still looking for more volunteers to pass out Walking Wednesday stamps every Wednesday morning. By volunteering, you will help create a safer walking environment for our students; and help cut down on our car traffic. Volunteers will stamp student hands at our Crossing Guard areas from 7:25-7:45. If you walk with your child to school every morning, please consider becoming one of our Walking Wednesday volunteers. Please contact: Mrs. Garcia by phone (951) 736-4545, or by email JLGarcia@cnusd.k12.ca.us. Click on the title above to view a map of the walking distance from your home to our school.
The State of California has changed its school funding system which is now called, the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). To learn more about this topic and take our community survey, we invite you to view our informational video by clicking the headline.
It is our daily goal to make sure our drop off and dismissal procedures are efficient and provide the highest safety to every child at this school. We ask all parents to abide by traffic laws and be as patient as possible. It is a fact that Barton Elementary has a one of the fastest dismissal times in our district. We are able to release an average of 1200 students within 20 minutes. That's amazing!
