After 39 years in education and 26 years of dedicated service to the students, staff, and families of the Corona-Norco Unified School District (CNUSD), Superintendent Dr. Sam Buenrostro has announced his retirement, effective July 1, 2025. The CNUSD Board of Education will be conducting a search to fill the Superintendent Vacancy.

The Corona-Norco Unified School District (CNUSD) seeks an experienced and visionary leader to serve as the Superintendent. The Superintendent will lead the district’s strategic planning, academic achievement initiatives, and the overall management of CNUSD. This role requires a dynamic individual with a deep commitment to student success, equity, innovation, and sustainability. The Superintendent will work closely with the Board of Education, district staff, students, parents, and the community to ensure that the district meets its educational goals and delivers high-quality education for all students.
