February has been a remarkable month for our students and staff, with numerous achievements worthy of celebration. First, our Board of Education, Student Recognition took place to highlight students who exemplify outstanding dedication, creativity, and leadership across the district.

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to the following individuals and programs recognized at our recent Board Meeting:

  1. Corona High School Adult Transition Program – The Artist Collective at Panther Nation
    Students in this program display remarkable creativity by designing and crafting handmade items, which they then sell at pop-up shops—showcasing not only their artistic talent but also their entrepreneurial spirit. CLICK HERE FOR MORE!

  2. Orange Grove High School Adult Transition Program – The Rolling Beans
    Students in The Rolling Beans program deliver fresh coffee, tea, and breakfast pastries around the District Office, gaining valuable job skills and customer service experience while brightening everyone’s morning. CLICK HERE FOR MORE!

  3. The Stock Market Game - Regional Champions (Orange Grove High School)
    Congratulations to students Brody Caponetto, Gerald Munoz Jr., and Bryan Garcia, whose savvy investing strategies led them to a first-place finish in the regional Stock Market Game competition. CLICK HERE FOR MORE!

  4. 2024 CSBA Golden Bell Award Winner - Roosevelt High School B.E.S.T. (Bilingual Empowerment & Student Translation) Leadership Program
    This innovative leadership program empowers bilingual students to serve as translators and leaders, fostering an inclusive community while providing real-world language and leadership experiences.

  5. California Schools to Watch - El Cerrito Middle School and River Heights Intermediate School
    Both schools earned the prestigious “Schools to Watch” designation, recognizing their commitment to academic excellence, social equity, and responsiveness to the unique needs of their students.

  6. 2025 California State Teacher of the Year - Bob Mauger, Corona High School
