IB Schools Unite to Celebrate Culture, Heritage, and Global Understanding
Corona, CA - CNUSD’s International Baccalaureate Schools recently came together on one stage to celebrate the traditions, stories, and pride that shape our beautifully diverse community.
Through vibrant performances and thoughtful presentations, students proudly displayed traditional attire representing cultures from across the globe. These garments were more than clothing—they served as powerful expressions of heritage. From intricate hand-stitched designs to sacred symbols passed down through generations, each piece embodied history, identity, and profound cultural meaning.
The event exemplified the heart of the International Baccalaureate mission: promoting intercultural understanding and respect while nurturing inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people. By sharing their cultures with one another, students demonstrated that honoring individual identities strengthens our collective community.
The IB program aims to develop globally minded learners who recognize that others, with their differences, can also be right. This celebration brought that mission to life, creating a powerful reminder that education extends beyond the classroom. It lives in experiences that build empathy, encourage dialogue, and inspire students to help create a better and more peaceful world.
