🏆 Cesar Chavez Academy Earns the CABE Seal of Excellence Award! 🏆

We are proud to announce that Cesar Chavez Academy has been named a CABE (California Association for Bilingual Education) 2025 Seal of Excellence School, a prestigious recognition awarded to public and private schools in California that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to biliteracy, multicultural appreciation, and educational equity for multilingual and English learner students.

This award highlights schools that:

✅ Align their programs with the Guiding Principles for Dual Language Education, the California English Learner Roadmap, and current research in dual language education.
✅ Provide high-quality professional learning opportunities tailored to dual language educators and support staff.
✅ Implement research-based instructional methods with fidelity to the biliteracy program model.
✅ Utilize data, including the California School Dashboard, to analyze and address trends in areas such as staffing, student achievement, community engagement, and opportunity gaps.
✅ Ensure multilingual and English learner students are making grade-level academic progress through local and statewide assessments.

Cesar Chavez Academy’s biliteracy program is a shining example of fostering academic success and cultural inclusivity, preparing students to thrive in the 21st century. The school will be honored at the CABE 2025 Seal of Excellence Banquet on March 28, 2025, at the Long Beach Convention Center.
