May 2025 Board of Education Special Recognitions

Norco, CA - On Tuesday, May 20, our Board of Education proudly celebrated outstanding achievements and partnerships that are making a lasting difference in our schools and community.

First, congratulations to Adriana Ruiz, Principal of Jefferson Elementary School, for being named the 2025 Riverside County CABE Bilingual Educators Succeeding Together (BEST) Certificated Administrator of the Year. Her leadership and dedication to bilingual education continue to empower students and families throughout our District.

We also proudly recognized three of our schools—Franklin, Prado View, and Temescal Valley Elementary Schools—for earning the prestigious 2025 California Distinguished Schools designation. This honor reflects their commitment to academic excellence and creating inclusive, high-achieving learning environments.

A heartfelt thank you was extended to the CNUSD District Office Social Committee for fostering positivity, collaboration, and wellness among staff throughout the year.

Finally, we were thrilled to recognize Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio, Troop 2010, based at Home Gardens Academy, for their meaningful contributions to community engagement and student leadership.

Moments like these remind us of the powerful impact that educators, students, and community partners can have when we work together toward a shared vision of success.
